PLANO, Texas, June 23, 2022 / PRNewswire / – Abuelo’s Mexican restaurant, famous for its authentic Mexican cuisine, announced today Rogers, Arkansas The site has developed a Servi hosting robot from Bear Robotics into a pilot program designed to provide human servers with a helping hand and more time to interact with visitors. The restaurant chain is exploring Servi’s ability to improve guest satisfaction, increase efficiency and help maintain a personal restaurant in a tight job market.
Servi automates repetitive tasks in the dining room, such as running food and drink to guests as soon as items are ready, and helps servers move bus tables and return dishes to the back of the house for washing. “Since our first restaurant opened in 1989, our mission has been to provide superior service to every Abuelo visitor,” he said. Robert Lynn, President of Abuelo’s. “We have explored many innovations over the years to improve the visitor experience and the Servi pilot is the latest test of how we can use technology to improve efficiency while providing the best service in the industry.”
At Rogers Abuelo’s restaurant, the Servi robot creates a smarter server environment for some day-to-day and physical tasks. The robot has been skillfully designed by Bear Robotics to combine agile movement with agile design. Using an advanced LiDar sensor and multiple cameras, the Servi can detect obstacles and navigate spaces easily and safely. for example, when transporting trays of food and drink to visitors, avoiding any person or barrier that crosses their path.
“Our vision is to upgrade the hospitality by automating the fuss behind it,” he said. John Ha, Founder and CEO of Bear Robotics. “Restaurant servers are hardworking people who offer unforgettable moments to guests.
