Hannaford was initially saddened by the incident, but now he has come to see his funny side.

“Lessons learned… I am no longer 21 and I should not run in the moms race and never wear a dress when I run!” wrote Hannaford in a Facebook post.

“When the kids got on the sports day more than they expected! Haha

“If you can not laugh at yourself, then what is life, eh? Sorry, guys and anyone else watching! “

She later told the SWNS news agency that she stumbled upon herself.

“I just tripped on my feet – I think my body was moving too fast for my feet! “I am so clumsy that I always fall on myself,” he said.

“I was humiliated at that time, but it’s what it is! I put a flash on my underwear, which is obviously embarrassing, but you just have to own it.

“Looking back, it’s hilarious – definitely the funniest thing I’ve ever done in my life!”
